Fall

How beautiful is this fall weather and colors that we are able to experience. It is November and I am truly in love with this month! I am so thankful for a lot of reasons. I love everything about Thanksgiving and and all the days that lead up to it. I am so thankful for my amazing family and the life that I have. The gospel is one of the most important things to me in my life. I am not sure where I would be without it in my life. I am so thankful for all of the lessons I have been taught and all of the things that I still have to be taught. It is going to be a great life to learn these things in with my sweet daughter and to hear her say how wonderful that I am and that I have taught her something. I am thankful that I have my father in heaven to love me and care about me. I am thankful that i have the truthfullness of the gospel and that I can share it and be sealed with my hubby for all of time and eternity. I am not sure where I would be without my sweet hubby and the wonderful things that he does for our family. It is so amazing to see how hard he works to provide for our family and always wants to do more to help us and to make things better. Sometimes things seem so rough and tight but it always seems to work out and find a way. I am thankful for the knowledge of tithing and the ability to reap the blessings from it. I am thankful for all of the wonderful blessings I have in my life and for all that I am doing to make my family and life better. I am thankful for my hubby helping me go back to school and being so supportive in it.

Thankful for all that I have and all that I dont have.

Where has time gone??

Wow it seems that life goes by so quickly. Now that we have a baby it seems to go even quicker. I am so thankful for the life and family that I have. Hard to believe that we are going to celebrate our 4 year anniversary this week. It seems like just yesterday we were going on our first date and moving into our home! It is so amazing to know that we are members of the church of Jesus Christ of Lattre Day Saints. I am thankful to have the gospel and all the wonderful blessings that I can have. I am thankful that my hubby and I are were sealed for all of time and eternity and that our sweet baby was born unto our covenent and that she is going to be sealed to us for all of time and eternity. I am so greatful for all of the blessings that god has given to us.

Madelein's First Pumpkin Patch Trip

What a fabulous day to go to the Pumpkin Patch! Last Monday we took Maddie to the pumpkin patch. It was an amazing experience to go and do it with her for the first time. It was so awesome. It happened to be free admission day so that was a plus. We were able to see Kaleigh and Jason there enjoying the day with Owen, even though we didnt get to talk to them we still were able to see them enjoying the day. It was great for us to take her on her first hay ride and pick out a pumpkin together. She explored the hay by tasting it and seeing how it was. She was somewhat tiered so she wasnt really thrilled about it. We were able to have some fun and just enjoy Family Time which we dont normally get to do! We went to lunch at Famous Daves and Maddie enjoyed eating what we did and was so amazing. We did a little window shopping and even got new shoes. Our anniversary present to each other. The whole day was spent as a family and just being together. No matter what that is the best thing that God can give us is our family. I am thankful toknow that I get to be with my family forever.

Fall Fun!

Last week we were able to go to Detroit just the two of us thanks to my amazing mom (for watching maddie) to see the Boston Red Sox play in a play off game. It was so amazing. We went to to a small diner for breakfast that was amazing and then just enjoyed the drive together! We got to the stadium about 45 min before gates opened. While waiting, we got interviewed by Fox 25 Boston News. That was pretty darn cool! We were like the only sox fans for quite a while. We got to see the Sox on the field and practicing..We got super close and were able to get some super good pics of the players. I had one run in with a Tigers fan who thought I was too loud and obnoxious. Well lets just say at the end of the game when the sox one 1-0 I made that guy high five me and showed him that yes I was right the Sox rock! It was a long late night drive home but it was sooo worth it. The $40.00 it cost us to park the car safely was also worth it. I was so excited to be able to enjoy a Play Off game with my sweet hubby!. We were able to cuddle when we got home kid free. We slept in the next day and caught up on our shows in bed long after noon! It was a great day. I was thankful to have my sweet baby girl back at home but I def enjoyed the time I had with my wonderful hubby.

Fall-The most beautiful time of year!

Fall is by far my favorite time of year and the most beautiful of all. I am so excited for it to begin. I have waited so long. I am ready for everything pumpkin, carmel apple. and such. We will also celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary and will see the Boston Red Sox play in a play off game at Detroit! We are super excited for all that it holds. Pumpkin patch for the first time is on the agenda as well. I cant wait to see what this fun filled fall brings us.

End of Summer

Wow!! Where did Summer go?? It is hard to believe that summer is over and Fall has begun. We had a lot of fun and firsts. It was great to spend our first summer as parents with our sweet baby girl. We had so much fun together. We were able to explore several things and enjoy family time.

We went to the zoo with Maddie and had a great time. It was amazing to be able to see her react to the animals even at a young age. She seemed to like it and we cant wait to take her back when she is bigger next summer to enjoy the animals and to see her reactions.

We had our first fourth of July and Maddie enjoyed fire works very much! She was so excited and set through them without any problems.

We also went on our first family vacation. We traveled in late August to Panama City Beach Fl and we had an amazing time even through the rain and such. We still managed to make it to the beach and have a great time as a family. Our condo was beautiful and we had a blast.

We had an overall good summer and lots of memories were made.

Beautiful Sabbath

What a beautiful Sabbath day it is today! It was wonderful to wake up to the sunshine pouring into my windows, and hearing my sweet baby girl just talking away in her bed. She is growing and changing so much and doesnt depend on me as much. I love it when she wakes up so happy.

Church was wonderful and the talks were great. The fellowship with those I came in contact with was amazing. I was lucky enough to teach a few wonderful young beautiful women. I am so thankful I have been able to watch them grow and prosper and strengthen their testimonies of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They are all amazing and wonderful bright lights in my life. THey strengthen me and uplift me and I dont even now that they know that. I am pleased to be a part of their lives.

Warm sunny weather leads us to the pool at mom and dads. It was great day for laying out and getting a tan so that I can work on it for Florida.

I am so ready for our vacation to Panama City Beach. In 30 days from today we will be on our way and ready for relaxation on the beach for 4 days! It is going to be so great. I cant wait to take Maddie there for the first time! It is going to be so much Fun!!!!!!

Busy Summer

Wow where has this summer gone??? Serenity turned 10 and Maddie just turned 5 months. I cant believe how fast it is going. I am excited though that this summer has been a lot of fun. It hasnt been to hot so it has been nice to enjoy the out doors in which maddie really loves. It is nice to go outside and her be excited to be there. This month has also brought sadness as my Grandma Lacey passed away at the age of 95. As she has lived such a wonderful life it was totally her time for her to go to Heaven and be with Heavenly Father. She was the sweetest most loving woman I have ever met. The news was sad  and seeing my dad cry was also hard but knowing that we can have forever families, I was able to be comforted and know that I will be with her again and that she is serving a better purpose now. I am beyond thankful for all of the wonderful memories that I have of her.

So Serenity turning 10 makes me feel very old, but seeing her grow up over the past 10 years has been amazing! I am so beyond blessed to be her aunt and to be a part of her life. It was kind of sad that she spent most of her day at the funeral home but dinner and fire works after was a lot of fun and she seemed to really enjoy it.

4th of July was fun. Sean and Maddie and I went out to lunch at BWW and then we hung out at mom and dads followed by a cook out and then to Summitville for fireworks. Maddie was so into it. She didnt even flench at the sound and she just watched in amazement. It was awesome. 1st 4th of July was fun for her.

Maddie turns 5 months! How has time gone by this fast?? It is crazy to think that it has been 5 months since I gave birth to the most sweetest baby girl. I am thankful to watch her grow and as she starts to work on setting up and is becoming more independent i can hardly believe it. she is the most amazing little girl.

Fun

Memorial Day weekend was fun for the most part. On that Friday night Sean and I had mom keep Maddie and we went out on a date to see a movie and had dinner and did a bit of shopping. We had a blast. Saturday Sean took the day off and we had a great family day mostly did shopping but not too bad. Sunday was a different story...We went to Seans mom's for a cook out and it was aweful..noone talked to us really and then the food wasnt done and it just turned into me having a migrane and then ending the night with stomach pain and vomiting. Monday we went to the church breakfast and then moms for dinner and I ended up in the ER with severe Stomach pains and not feeling well. I ended up going to have an ultrasound for my gallbladder and found out that I do have stones but my Fam dr wants to just keep me on the meds and see how that goes so far it seems to be working. I am thankful for not needing surgery.

Warmer Weather

Yes we have finally recieved warmer weather! I am so enjoying being able to put maddie in her cute clothes and not have so many layers. I love to see all the vegitation and things growing. We even spotted some crops coming up in the fields last night.

Serenity had her spring program last night and it was wonderful. It made me want to teach so much more. I realized last night that I only have 3 more semesters left at Ivy Tech. It was a reality checker for me I think because I have not even thought about where to go or what I exactly want to do. I do know that I want to double major in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I am looking forward to having a much broader aspect for teaching. I am ready for this degree and to move on to the next big thing in our lives. I wont teach until Maddie is in School but it is a 4 year degree program so I am sure that will work out just fine.

Sean is trucking along at his degree and is doing a great job. I am so proud of his hard work and all that he has done. I am sure that things will get better for him and that he will land the job of his dreams. I am continually trying to encourage and support him in all that he does because I know how much he gets down and I do not like that.

Teething Troubles

Yes it is official we are having teething troubles. Maddie has been trying to get her bottom two teeth in for the past couple of months but in the past few weeks they are super visible and seem to be really bothering her. Yesterday she was cranky and slept a ton, and barely ate. Today she was good until evening when they seemed to really be popped out. Mom came over for a visit and held her while i ate diner and said she sees one of the top teeth coming in too. I think they are gonna pop in quickly. I am thankful for her though and know that she will eventually get them in!

My 1st Mothers Day!

Yesterday was my 1st Mothers day! It was a fantastic day too! Sean made it a special day for me. It started the night before when they took me out to dinner at Olive Garden and Maddie was so fantastic. We went flower shopping and then got groceries. Sean went to the mall to do a bit of mothers day shopping and I got to go to Maurices and do some shopping myself. It was so nice to look around and not worry about anything. Sunday I woke up and was able to shower with out the worry of hurrying. Sean made me some breakfast and gave me my wonderful gift. The card was perfect the willow tree angel and the charm for my bracelet absolutely made my day. I was so excited. I am so thankful for all that he does to take care of me. It was nice to nap and relax and to be taken care of. He was so great to take care of Maddie also. We visited my mom for a few and enjoyed my cards. Over all my 1st Mothers day was wonderful. I discovered while taking care of my teething baby just how much I enjoyed being a mom and how much joy that it brought to my life.I know that staying up all night holding her and soothing her while she is restless is just one of the joys of my life as a mom. I know that I will have so many more oppertunities to help her and care for her. I am thankful for Heavenly Father trusting me enough to let me have a beautiful child and care for her and raise her to be the wonderful Daughter of God that she is.

Happy Mothers DAY!!!!!!!

Madelein's Blessing Day at Church

Madelein was blessed at church on March 24th2013by her daddy. It was an amazing day. He gave her a name in the church and blessed her for her life. He was joined by Rusty, Pres Hartman, Travis, Kyle, and Rick! It was such a blessing to me to see him up there as the priesthood holder in our home and family and giving her a blessing for her life. It is amazing to see your little girl in the arms of her daddy surrounded by some amazing men in our branch who have been awesome friends in our life. I am so thankful for the ability of blessings and what they can do for our life.

Maddie's First Easter

Easter 2013! Maddie was a very good girl for the Easter Bunny and got lots of goodies. It took Daddy and I  a long time to find the perfect dress for our princess. We went with a pink/coral theme and we all matched for church!

Spring Time

Spring has sprung. Flowers are blooming every where. I love the weather and the sunshine. I love even more that I am able to enjoy it every day. Being a stay at home mom has been the best blessing in my life. I am more than thankful for all that I have been given. I know that I will be blessed because my daughter will be able to learn and grow at home with her mommy.

I just finished the spring semester of classes and I am so excited. Being done with classes is amazing. It means more time with my sweet baby girl. I love to spend time with her. I am getting very close to being done with school and it is awesome. I love the classes but cant wait to see what else life has in store for me.

Maddie is the highlight of our lives. She has brought so much love and joy to our lives that I dont know what we would do without her. She amazes me every day. She is 3 months old and has the best smile ever. I love to see her smile and her dimples they are so cute. She gets so excited to see both Sean and I and it is amazing. She has rolled over, and scoots every where on her belly. Today she held onto a toy and played with it. She absolutely loved it so much. Her hands are so tiny she has a hard time grasping onto things. She isnt much of a shopper but we will change that! I cant wait for all of the adventures that the summer will bring to our home and to our lives.

Sean is working on his bachelors in Finance and just added accounting. I am beyond proud of him for all of his hard work. He is definately the bread winner in our home. He is working so hard for Maddie and I and we are so thankful for his love, dedication, support and help. We are thankful it is summer session and that he will be home more often and not have as much class work to do so that we can spend more time with him.

For me, I am on a journey of becoming healthier and being a more positive happy person. There is no reason in life to be unhappy and negative. Life is too short for those things.

Hug your loved ones, pray daily, love your family, and count your blessings!

The life of a mom is so amazing! I love every second of it! I can't explain how she melts my heart over and over again day in and day out. I am thankful for the blessing we received at the end of a Kong challenging journey to get Maddie! My life feels so Mich happier with her.

Being a stay at home wife n mom has its ups b downs but I wouldn't trade it for the world! I love taking care of things and being able to do the things needed for my family!

I am actiously awaiting warm weather so we can plant flowers and such! It will be so great!
